Nordic Fight Night

A revolutionary concept to boost Scandinavian boxing.

In January 2012, Viasat and Team Sauerland announced a revolutionary project to further boost Scandinavian boxing – the Nordic Fight Night.

Over the course of the next five years, TV3 / Viasat (Denmark), TV10 (Sweden) and Viasat Norway will broadcast between five and seven Nordic Fight Nights per year.

The shows, which will take place in various venues across Denmark, feature the biggest names and most promising talents in Nordic boxing, including Danish national hero Mikkel Kessler, Norwegian fan darling Cecilia Braekhus.

“This ground-breaking partnership will lift Nordic boxing to the highest international level,” promoter Nisse Sauerland said. “Our star fighters will win a lot of titles for Scandinavia as we bring the biggest fights to Denmark. The Nordic Fight Night guarantee world-class boxing, top entertainment and a lot of excitement for the fans in the venues and those watching on TV.”
